The verdict

It's Streaming. Vinyl is the better object; streaming is the better way to love music.

Vinyl is lovely, and the comeback is real: the ritual, the artwork, the ownership. If you want to listen to one album properly on a Sunday, nothing beats it, and we own plenty.

But the argument isn't about Sunday. It's about the other six days, where streaming has put the whole history of recorded music in everyone's pocket and introduced more people to more music than any technology ever. Streaming, with a turntable in the corner.

Disagree? That's what the buttons are for.
